I am one of the six School Counselors at Willard. This year I am a 7th grade counselor for the future high school graduating class of 2028. I predominantly work with students whose last names “L-Z”. It is my role to help students build skills and techniques to work through overwhelming emotions and situations. I also help students navigate their academic goals by collaborating with families, teachers, staff and outside resources.

I attended George Mason University and graduated with a bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Conflict Resolution. My masters is in counselor education from the University of Virginia (#wahoowa). Prior to becoming a counselor, I taught three years of algebra I in a high school in Jacksonville, Florida. I also coached the girls soccer team and was the defensive flag football coach.

During my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. My top three favorite things are laughing, eating, and traveling. I love trying new foods from different cultures. I also enjoy doing things to move my body and stay active from yoga to dancing to running.
