Mrs. Sarah Schiavo

Mrs. Schiavo is excited to be teaching at Harmony Middle School for her eleventh year!

After graduating from Penn State in 2006, Sarah spent her first few years of teaching in Alternative Ed and High School classrooms in suburban Philadelphia, Pa. When her husband got a job opportunity down here in the DC area, they picked up and moved south for their first adventure. While they continue to head home to Philly regularly and can be found in the stands at most Penn State football games, they now call Leesburg home. Mrs. Schiavo enjoys distance running, yoga, and baking when she's not spoiling her amazing kids, Ellie and Teddy.

 Please understand that during the school day, I am actively working with students and may not be able to respond immediately.   However, I will respond within 36 hours to emails.  If you have a time-sensitive message, please call Harmony at (540) 751-2500. The secretaries will make sure that I get the message.

Schoology is our online classroom. I keep it up to date with assignments and important messages. Please email me if you need any clarification or additional information on what you see there.
