Teacher Biography

Ms. Mancera has been a Spanish teacher for twelve years and this is her second year at Freedom High School. She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She has also taught ESL for several years in schools in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. This is her 17th year teaching. She has a bachelor's in modern languages from a University in Colombia and she loves to keep learning new words in different languages. She is an animal and nature lover. Her favorite activities are hiking, biking and swimming in the summer.
