Virginia Reader’s Choice is sponsored by the Virginia State Reading Association in association with the Virginia Association of School Librarians, the Virginia Library Association and the Library of Virginia Youth Services. Click HERE for more information.

The Virginia Readers' Choice Award is given to a book that wins the popular vote of students throughout the state of Virginia.   Students in kindergarten-grade two will listen to the ten primary books during their scheduled library time and will have the opportunity to vote for the book they like the best.
Students who would like to vote for elementary books will need to read a minimum of five of the ten nominated titles.  The student can request a voting ballot from Mrs. Higgins when ready to vote for his/her favorite nominated book.
