Mrs. Bitna Lee

Hi, my name is Bitna Lee and I am so excited to join Hamilton Elementary as a Kindergarten teacher. I was born in Germany and raised in Pennsylvania in a Korean-speaking household. I am fortunate to be bilingual and love learning different languages/cultures. I went to Brandeis University and earned a B.A. in Sociology and Elementary Education. I served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Republic of Kiribati before returning back to the United States for graduate school. I went to Arcadia University and earned an M.Ed in Computers and Technology for Education. I taught grades K-3 for 12 years in my hometown in Abington, PA, before moving to Virginia briefly and then to Texas. I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 7 years in Richardson, Texas, and moved to Aldie to teach 3rd grade for the past 2 years.

I've been married to my husband David for 21 years. We live with our 1 college-attending son-Christian, 2 high school-age children- Kayla and Jordan, and two adorable rescue dogs- Eddie and Lil' Bear. We love watching movies, playing/watching sports, and cooking delicious meals together.

I am so grateful to be teaching at Hamilton this year and am looking forward to an amazing year!
