Cheers to the new school year! I would like to extend a warm welcome to the students and families of Frederick Douglas Elementary School!

I am eager to get started on another fun-tastic school year, as a co-teacher for second grade, supporting special education.

I have been with Loudoun County Schools for sixteen years. My passion is teaching students the joy of reading. My professional background includes counseling children and their families. I have a master’s degree in psychology and a special education licensure certificate from George Mason University.

I have resided in Leesburg for 26 years with my wonderful family, husband Ed, and three young adult children. During my leisure time, I enjoy reading, walking, heading to the beach, and spending peaceful time with family and friends.
