MAP Testing Information

  • LCPS administers NWEA’s MAP Growth tests in Math each fall, winter, and spring to high school students enrolled in Algebra I and Geometry to determine their instructional readiness level and measure academic growth throughout the school year and from year to year. For SY23-24, the test dates are as follows:

    Fall Window: August 28, 2023- September 19, 2023

    Winter Window: January 8, 2024- January 29, 2024

    Spring Window: April 1, 2024- April 23, 2024

Students should bring fully charged LCPS-issued devices and headphones on test day.

MAP Growth tests are adaptive, providing a detailed picture of what your student knows and is ready to learn—whether it is on, above, or below grade level expectations. MAP Growth tests also provide immediate and accurate information about your student’s learning, enabling teachers to personalize instruction to meet students’ needs.
