Hello Scholars!

Welcome to the library.  This is where we will explore different types of books and help you find books and stories that are just right for you.  We will be doing different lessons each week to learn about how to ask questions, find information and use it responsibly.  You'll understand how stories work and study different authors and illustrators.  We also have some amazing online resources to focus our inquiry-based learning on.

I think that I have the best job in the world, and that's with more than ten years of experience.  I became a librarian because I love reading, and connections, and, of course, young scholars.  I will always be up for book recommendations.  I want to know any interesting facts you discover, and I cannot wait to see what you are wondering about.

I am originally from Michigan, so bring on the snow!  I have an adorable dog.  My favorite superhero is The Flash.  I have been incredibly fortunate to meet authors and illustrators during and after earning my MLIS. 

I know we will work hard, be kind, and enjoy our time together in the library.
