Mrs. Cora Capayachi

Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Cora Capayachi and I am so excited for my second year at Cardinal Ridge! I was previously at Forest Grove Elementary School in Sterling. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science degree from Bridgewater College and my Master's of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Liberty University. My philosophy for education is creating a classroom community where every student feels welcome. 

I was born and raised in Centreville, Virginia and currently live in Fairfax, Virginia with my husband, our daughter, Lucy, and our dog, Frenchie. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, running (I've completed two marathons and countless half marathons), and trying out new recipes.
