Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Miranda Scoggin

Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Miranda Scoggin and I am super excited for my third year at CRE! I have taught fourth grade for two years here, and also taught fifth grade for two years in Colorado. I cannot wait for the upcoming school year!

I was born and raised in Chantilly, VA and became a student of LCPS when I was in fourth grade. Then, I attended James Madison University (Go Dukes!) where I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching degree, as well as a Bachelor's degree for Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies, minoring in Elementary Education.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Alex, and dog, Arya. I am an avid reader, love watching the Green Bay Packers, and am a huge fan of Marvel and Harry Potter! As you can see from my picture, I am also a big fan of alpacas!

My favorite thing about teaching is making learning fun and interactive. I hope to nurture creative and curious minds as we learn together in fourth grade. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
