Hello and Welcome to Buffalo Trail!

I am excited to be a part of the Buffalo Trail Kindergarten Teaching Team! I originally joined the BTES family in 2014, transferred to another elementary school in 2016 and returned to the trail in 2022. I have been teaching in the field of Early Childhood for over 25 years and this is my 9th year with LCPS. I previously taught Early Childhood Special Education in both Arlington Public Schools and LCPS and was a Starting Towards Excellence in Preschool (STEP) teacher for 5 years. I am committed to creating a classroom environment that is safe and fun for your child. We will learn through hands-on experiences that engage your child socially, emotionally and academically.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy all things outdoors. My family loves to snow ski in the winter, and swim, hike and fish in the fall and summer. I love spending time with my dog, Bella, who gets more attention than anyone else in our house. I love all sorts of animals and can't wait to find out what pets your child may have at home too!
