Ms. Swinimer

Ms. Swinimer is a Loudoun County native, attending Loudoun County Public Schools and graduating from Potomac Falls High School. Ms. Swinimer attended Elon University for her Undergraduate degree and James Madison University for her Graduate degree. This is Ms. Swinimer's 10th year teaching Family & Consumer Sciences in Loudoun County, and her second year at Independence! 

Favorite High School Memory: Freshmen year homecoming dance! I loved going with a huge group of friends and rolling up to Lightfoot Cafe in Leesburg for a fancy dinner all packed into a mini-van. No one had cell phones, so the only evidence that exists are the fuzzy disposable camera pictures that we all waited for a friend's Mom to get developed at CVS for us to admire the next morning over donuts and OJ! (Go to school dances, you'll be thankful for the memories!)
