LCPS uses a tag system to ensure the safe delivery of kindergarten students who ride school buses.

Siblings and any authorized escort are permitted to pick up a kindergarten student if it has been authorized by the parent(s) or guardian. All authorized persons picking up a student must have a matching kindergarten tag.

The 2023-2024 LCPS Kindergarten Tag color is RED.

If, at any time, you have lost or damaged the kindergarten tags, please contact your child's teacher so that new ones may be sent home to you in your child's Take-Home Folder. If your child recently got a new backpack, please make sure to take the kindergarten tag off their old backpack and transfer it to their new one.

Each student will receive two car placards to be used during dismissal (the car placard is different than the county's transportation tag, and is specific to Sully Elementary).

When you pick up your child, please make sure to have your placard and ID with you (in case we need to verify your identity). If someone else is picking up your child, please call the main office at (571) 434-4570 to let us know, and make sure that you have given the car placard to the person picking up your child! Thank you for helping us run dismissal smoothly and efficiently!
