Mrs. Kate Doherty

My name is Kate Doherty and I love teaching here at Round Hill Elementary.  This will be my 25th year teaching and my 15th year here at RHES.  My 3 daughters, Clare, Bridget, and Abby all went to RHES, too!  They are now at Woodgrove High School.  I attended George Mason University for my undergraduate degree and then Shenandoah University for my Masters in Teaching.  I have lived in Loudoun County for most of my life and here in Round Hill for the past 20 years.  I enjoy reading books (I love a good mystery!!), going for a hike or run, watching my girls play sports, and movie nights at home. My parents and siblings all live locally so getting together with family is a real blessing for me.
