How to Get Help

  • If you are uncertain about the best approach for supporting your child’s mental health needs, you can email the Riverside Unified Mental Health Team at to ask questions and seek resources. One of the team members will respond to your question(s) within 24 hours on workdays (not including weekends, holidays, or non-workdays). This resource should not be used for urgent situations or emergencies. The Unified Mental Health Team includes school counselors, the school social worker, the school psychologist, and the student assistance specialist.

    You may also want to visit the Virtual Calming Room, a place for students and families to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings. The Unified Mental Health Team is here to support you!
