Student Registration

  • Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) began accepting Online Pre-Registrations for the 2022-2023 school year at 8:00 a.m. on February 16, 2022. Only students who are new to LCPS need to register. Currently enrolled students will already be rolled into the next school year. See the Documents list to access the parent letter about course selection for future Riverside students who will be new to LCPS in the next school year.

Please note that if your student is registering in order to apply to the Academies of Loudoun (ACL), you must indicate as such in the Online Pre-Registration and then ALSO email the Admissions Office at ACL  to let them know your student is applying. The Online Pre-Registration does NOT constitute an application to ACL; you must complete a separate process, and the ACL Admissions Office is the best resource for information about that process. You may also see the ACL Admissions website for more information.

On Friday, April 29th, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, the Eighth Grade Class from Belmont Ridge Middle School will visit Riverside! Newly registered rising 9th graders from schools other than Belmont Ridge are welcome to visit the school during this time as well.

Riverside's Registrar is Ms. Kathy Jackson. You can reach her via email at or by phone at 703-554-8907.

    • For students who have PREVIOUSLY attended LCPS and are re-enrolling, please email Ms. Jackson to learn the best way to re-register such a student.
    • For students who are NEW to LCPS (enrolling for the first time), please complete the ONLINE Registration Form. To complete the form, once you’re on the site, click on More Options at the bottom right-hand side. You will need to create a new account, and then it will prompt you to continue with your registration.
