Greetings Red Wings! My name is Mrs. Williams, and I am beyond excited to meet the scholars and families of Cardinal Ridge Elementary School. This is my first year at Cardinal Ridge Elementary School and seventh year as a school counselor. As an educator, more specifically a school counselor, I believe in nurturing a school environment where all scholars feel supported, empowered, and loved, where kindness is standard, and scholars learn to understand and regulate their emotions.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and master’s degree in School Counseling from The University of North Florida located in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I taught second and third grade, before transitioning into the role of a school counselor. I have had the fortunate opportunity to work as a school counselor across all levels, and have found my greatest passion of service in the elementary education setting!

I am committed to ensuring that every student I encounter engages in a meaningful and lifelong interaction with their school counselor! I am passionate about positively impacting scholars' and families' lives by delivering a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes academic and personal excellence, healthy school and community connections, career exploration, social emotional learning, and skills to become respectful and contributing citizens of society.
