Ms. Whitsitt

I love being a School Counselor and working with the wonderful families in our community. I was born out west and moved around growing up but I have lived in Virginia for a long time.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and worked at a residential treatment center for adolescents which sparked my interest in the counseling field. I earned Master of Education and Educational Specialist degrees from James Madison University and previously worked as a high school counselor.

I am passionate about community outreach and volunteer with wonderful organizations such as the American Red Cross. I enjoy taking fitness classes, hiking with my two children, and curling up with a good book.
