Reading

Hello!  My name is Sonja Sneddon and I am the new half-time reading specialist.  This is my first year at Little River and my 16th year in education. I come to Little River from Frederick County, VA where I taught grades 1-4 and was a reading specialist.  I received my undergraduate degree from JMU, my Master’s degree in Education from Marymount University and my reading specialist certificate from Shenandoah University.  When I am not at school, I am busy attending sporting events with my 3 sons who are in grades 2, 7 and 10.  I love to read and my family spends lots of time outdoors camping.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead working with the Little River students!  I will split my time between Little River (mornings) Discovery (afternoons).
