Degrees and Certifications:
I am beyond excited to begin my new role as Special Education Dean with the Algonkian family. I have a passion for helping all students reach their potential by collaborating with staff and families. Proactive communication is essential, so I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. My door is always open!
I doubled-majored in Psychology and Communication Disorders at the Univiersity of Virginia (GO WAHOOS!) and received my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology at James Madison University. This will be my 12th year working in special education with LCPS. Prior to my current role, I served as the speech-language pathologist at Algonkian Elementary. I grew up 5 miles down the road and currently live in the Countryside area with my husband and two young children. In my spare time, I enjoy taking walks, going for runs, weightlifting, reading, and playing outside with my kids.
I look forward to a wonderful school year!
