Ms. Kim-marie Brown

Ms. Kim-marie Brown is originally from Jamaica, and she immigrated to the United States when she was 12 years old. She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida State University. After graduation she worked at Refuge House, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. Later she earned her Master's in School Counseling from Virginia Tech and then again returned to school earning a Master's in Educational Administration from Shenandoah University.   She has been with Loudoun county for 17 years.  She was a counselor at Heritage High School for 15 years before coming to Park View High School. She is excited to start the 2022 school year at Park View High School as the Director of School Counseling.  Ms. Brown looks forward to developing positive relationships with the staff, students and parents of Park View community.
