The 2023-2024 school year will be my twenty-fifth teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools and also my twenty-fifth teaching in the Gifted program.  I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work in the variety of formats for sharing challenging gifted education to this year's Kindergarten through 5th grade students at Seldens Landing where I will be enjoying my third year on the staff after 17 years at Belmont Station ES and 4 years at Mill Run ES and one year at Cedar Lane ES!

     Prior to teaching I spent several years in the Hotel and Restaurant management field.  In fact, if you visited the Lansdowne Conference Center and Resort you may have met me (a long time ago). Nowadays, outside of Belmont Station, look for me on a golf course, any of the awesome bike trails in our area,  or up in the Adirondacks of New York State during the summer.

      Working at Lansdowne was quite exciting.  In addition to meeting local folks, I had the chance to meet many national celebrities.  Michael Jordan, Joe Namath, Alex Trebek, Bill Russell, Bart Starr, Jonas Salk, Lou Rawls, and even George H. W. Bush, to name a few.   Now, however, I am blessed and privileged to work with the greatest celebrities of all, the students of Loudoun County!

     I'm looking forward to meeting and working with many new and returning  students at Seldens Landing this coming school year, 2023-2024!
