Mr. Trent Smith

My name is Trent Smith and I am extremely excited to teach here at Independence! I grew up in Fincastle, VA and attended James Madison University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in History and my Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T). Prior to coming to Indy, I was a History Teacher at Eagle Ridge Middle school. I am pleased to be Tiger and look forward to learning along with my students this year!
