Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Airey

Hello, Cool Spring Family!

Welcome to Fourth Grade!

My name is Ms. Airey and I can’t wait to get to know you and your student as we dive into the new school year together. I am looking forward to creating a positive classroom community that is supportive, equitable, and fun. I believe learning should be explorative and tailored to each individual student based on their needs and interests. I strive to ensure positive and continuous communication as we work together to make this year amazing. I plan to make sure each student feels valued, confident in their abilities, and successful in their learning.

About Me!

I am a recent graduate from James Madison University where I graduated with my Undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education and my Master’s degree in Elementary Education PreK-6. Go Dukes! Before college, I grew up in Fairfax County, just down the road. While this is my first full year of professional teaching, I have been a substitute teacher and had many different field work experiences, in a wide variety of grade level positions, throughout my pre-professional career. I am so grateful to be a part of such a welcoming and caring school community. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, gardening, and exploring new places in the area. Go Penguins!
