Ms. Chudy

My name is Ms. Chudy and I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade at Madison's Trust Elementary School again for the 2023-2024 School Year! This is my 3rd year teaching here at MTE and my 6th year of teaching! 

I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware in 2018. I also have a concentration in Middle School Social Studies and a minor in history. I taught for three years with Prince William County Schools where I taught fifth and second grades before coming to LCPS in the 2021-2022 school year. I am also beginning my Master's degree at GMU this fall to become a Math Specialist and am so excited to apply everything I learn to my classroom this year.

I was born in New England but was raised in a suburb of Philadelphia. I am a Philadelphia Phillies fan who loves cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, and water ice! I enjoy reading, playing board games, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my two nieces, Abby and Ella. I am also a big Disney fan, and have visited Disney World over 10 times! My favorite subject to teach is math and I look forward to being a math and science teacher this year. I love doing lots of science experiments and labs and bringing our math and science learning into as many real-word applications as possible. I cannot wait to meet my students and families and start what will be an amazing school year together!
