Ms. Wendy Adler
My name is Wendy Adler and I am so excited to be joining the EL department as a Lowes Island Leopard! I am coming to Lowes Island after teaching within Loudoun County for the last 16 years; teaching preschool, kindergarten, first, second, and third grades. I have an undergraduate degree from New York in Elementary Education with focus in Educational Psychology and Child Development. Upon moving to Virginia I grew fascinated in how learners acquire the English Language and received a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in English Language along with a subsequent endorsement in Education Administration. I am passionate about inspiring a love and curiosity for reading and writing and helping children find a voice to express their unique perspective. Apart from school, I am a mom to two daughters who attend Loudoun County Schools. I look forward to meeting, working, and learning with the Lowes Island community! Please feel at ease contacting me with questions, concerns, and successes at Wendy.Adler@lcps.org.
Enthusiastically,
Wendy Adler
