Mrs. Shadia Abo Abdo
Hello! My name is Shadia Abo Abdo I am excited to be returning as a 2nd grade teacher at Lowes Island Elementary School. This is my third year at Lowes and I'm thrilled for the upcoming school year! I have 16 years of teaching experience in a range of grade levels; I taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. Most of my experience was spent overseas in the United Arab Emirates; both as a teacher and Head of Department.
Education is my passion and I feel very lucky and fortunate to be living my dream of being a teacher. I have a Bachelor's in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I also have a Masters in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
I grew up in Laguna Hills, California and my favorite thing to do, when I am not teaching, is spending time with my three kids and husband!
I am eager get to know my students this year!
