Accepting Summer Program Recommendations

  • Parents/guardians of students recommended for participation in a Summer Program will receive an email with a link to a Permission Click form to accept or decline participation in the Summer Program.

    • The Permission Click emails will be sent starting Friday, May 5.
    • Additional emails will be sent each Friday through May 26 for newly recommended students.
    • All parents/guardians are requested to complete the Permission Click form, even if their child will not be participating in the Summer Program.

    Please follow the instructions below to complete the response for your child.

    Open the Permission Click Form

    1. An email from Permission Click will be sent to your email address on or after May 5, 2023.
    2. Open the email and click on the link labeled Complete Your Form.
    3. Follow the instructions below to complete Steps 1-6 within the Permission Click form.

    Step 1: Complete Parent/Guardian Information

    1. If needed, choose your native language using the menu at the top right.
    2. Please enter your first and last name.
    3. Your email address as form submitter is prefilled. Do not change this email address. If this email address is incorrect, please contact your child’s school.
    4. Click the Next button.

    Step 2: Accept Your Child’s Participation in a Summer Program

    1. The name of the child recommended for a Summer Program is prefilled. Do not change the child’s name. Your child's LCPS ID is listed in the last name field. You will need the ID for Step 3.
    2. Select the Yes radio button if your child will participate, or the No radio button if the child will not participate. LCPS would like all families to complete the Permission Click form.
    3. Click the Next button.

    Step 3: Enter Your Child’s LCPS ID

    1. Your child’s LCPS ID is the same as their lunch number. The LCPS ID is listed in the last name field in the previous step. If needed, click Back to view and copy it. 
    2. Enter your child’s six or seven digit LCPS ID.
    3. Click the Next button.

    Step 4: Select Transportation Options

    Each Summer Program has different transportation options for which you may be prompted to make selections. Some programs may not have transportation options.

    1. If your child requires AM bus transportation (before the Summer Program), select the Yes radio button, otherwise select No.
    2. If your child requires PM transportation (after the Summer Program), select the Yes radio button, otherwise select No.
    3. Click the Next button.

    Step 5: Review and Complete Final Acknowledgement

    1. If you would like to review your responses prior to completing the final acknowledgement, click the Show All button. If you would like to make a change to your responses, click the Edit button.
    2. Click the I Agree checkbox.
    3. Click Submit.

    Step 6: Response Complete

    Your acknowledgement of the child’s recommendation for summer school is complete. A confirmation email as well as a PDF of your responses, in English, will be sent to your email address.
