Yearbook Club
  • Our BRMS Yearbook is a publication that captures the events and lives of students and staff involved with our school during the school year. The Yearbook serves as a memory book, a history book, a record book, and/or a reference book and allows students to have a physical reminder of their middle school memories from BRMS.

Joining the Club that puts together our BRMS Yearbook is more than just a great way to get involved with our school. It’s also a great way to learn all sorts of valuable skills such as time management, brainstorming, prioritizing, reliability, and working as a team.  It also teaches responsibility for following through on tasks when others are depending on you. The Yearbook Club also allows students experience in photography and writing creatively that combine to create a yearbook that captures our school memories.  Students volunteer their time to take pictures of school activities and events.  Our main objective is to capture the atmosphere of Blue Ridge and include every student’s picture in the yearbook.

The Yearbook Club is open to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade BRMS student who is interested in helping to create the school’s yearbook.  We have a small Yearbook Club, so only the serious workers need to apply!  Students can fill out an application to apply to be part of the Yearbook Club.  Applications require a recommendation from the student’s current English teacher and parental approval.  Rising 7th and 8th grade students apply for the Yearbook Club in the spring of the current school year for the following school year.  Incoming 6th graders apply in the fall of their current school year.  Email Ms. Hite for an application and more information.

Yearbook Club meets virtually this year on Mondays.  For additional information, please contact the Yearbook Club sponsor - Sandra Hite at Sandra.hite@lcps.org.
