    Hello! My name is Eileen Snyder and I am one of the Reading Specialists at Horizon!
     
    I am going into my twentieth year at Horizon Elementary.  Before becoming the Reading Specialist I taught fourth, second and first grades at Horizon. Prior to moving to Virginia I taught in New Jersey as a first grade teacher and a Literature/Language Arts teacher for grades 6-8.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Political Science from Mount Saint Mary's University. In addition, I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and a second Masters degree in Reading from Shenandoah University.
