Virginia Department of Social Services Energy Assistance
The Virginia DSS offers multiple energy assistance programs, including their new Virginia COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program. Programs address utility assistance for both heating and cooling, heating emergencies and weatherization assistance. Information and online applications can be found on the DSS webpage linked above.
Salvation Army of Loudoun County
The Loudoun County Salvation Army offers emergency assistance to individuals and families needing help with rent, utility bills, baby diapers and clothing.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Program is providing help with rent and utilities to residents of the Diocese of Arlington who are facing a one-time financial emergency.
The Virginia Rent Relief Program (RRP) is designed to support housing stability during the coronavirus pandemic. Depending on availability of funds and household need, the RRP may provide financial assistance for rent payments for eligible households.
