    Chromebook troubleshooting:

    Clear your browsing history

    Open Chrome. 

    1. In the top right, click on the 3 vertical dots  
    2. Click on More Tools 
    3. Time Range: select All Time 
    4. Check all 3 categories  
    5. Click Clear data 

     

    Update Chrome version. Get the latest version of Chrome:

    1. Open Chrome 
    2. In the top right, click on the 3 vertical dots 
    3. Click on Settings 
    4. Lower left side of page click About Chrome 
    5. Click Chrome OS Settings 
    6. Click Check for Updates 
    7. Once it finishes looking for updates, click Restart

    I am new to the district. How will my student be issued a device?

    New student devices will be ready for distribution on 8/31/20. Starting on 8/31/20, families may visit https://bit.ly/DDI-REPAIR to schedule an appointment at an on-site location to be assigned the appropriate device. 

    Students who are leaving LCPS (whether graduating or transferring to a different district) must return their Chromebooks & chargers. Sign up for an appointment at https://bit.ly/DDI-REPAIR.  Students/parents will be billed for missing equipment not returned.

    Hotspots

    Request for Mobile Internet Hotspot

    Please fill out this form (link above) to request a mobile internet hotspot. You must be an LCPS student or staff member to be eligible to request a device. Quantities are limited, so all requests will be prioritized. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a hotspot will be provided. Hotspots require T-Mobile cellular coverage which may not be available at your home. There is a limit of one device per household. LCPS staff will coordinate the delivery of the device once the request has been approved.
