    About Me:

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year, 6th grade!  I'm so excited to be working with you!

I grew up in Northern Virginia, and am a proud graduate of the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia, where I received both a BA in History and a Masters' of Teaching in Secondary Social Studies Education.  I earned an additional Masters' Degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University in 2012.  I have spent my entire career in Loudoun, and am so lucky to have the opportunity to raise my own children in the same wonderful place.

Before proudly accepting the dean position at Brambleton, I was a charter member of Rock Ridge High School.  There, I taught AP United States History and Academic US History.  In addition, I was co-adviser to the PEER program and a lead mentor for teachers.  Prior to Rock Ridge, I taught seventh and eighth grade history at Mercer Middle School, where I also served as Subject Area Lead Teacher for the Social Science and Global Studies department.

As always, please feel free to contact me at any point during the year with comments, questions or concerns.  I look forward to hearing from you!

    About Me:

Welcome! This is my 20th year in education. I spent many years teaching a variety of science but my best times were teaching Physical Science. I was a Dean at Eagle Ridge Middle School and transferred over to help open the wonderful Brambleton Middle School. The best part about this role is the amount of time I get to spend with the students watching them grow and become confident and happy young adults.
