    About Me:

I am in my 13th year of education and am thrilled to be a part of the Bramble Middle School Family! I am a Loudoun County native that grew up in this area and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School.  I attended James Madison University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I hold a teaching license in Middle School Math and Science with endorsements in Algebra 1 and Gifted Education. Additionally I earned a second degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from George Mason University. My proudest accomplishment is being a mom to two terrific boys.

Before joining Brambleton's Administrative team I was a Dean at Harmony Middle School. Prior to that I taught both Science and Math at various middle schools throughout the county. Over the course of my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to learn and develop my craft as an educator and become more passionate about the work that we do. I believe strongly that all great leaders have a passion. Our passions are what shape our purpose, and a clear purpose is what brings people together to facilitate progress. Sharing my passion with others builds mutual respect and trust, and in doing so I hope to inspire others to achieve extraordinary results.

    About Me:

This is my 12th year of education in Loudoun County Public Schools and I am very excited to join the Brambleton Middle School family. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University. After moving to the United States in 2000, I completed my graduate degree in Education with a focus on Special Education from the University of Virginia. My second graduate degree is in Administration and Leadership from Shenandoah University.

I started my teaching career at Stone Hill Middle School as a Learning Specialist, and then switched to teaching 6th-grade science. After that, I was a Dean at Eagle Ridge Middle School. I also served as an Assistant Principal at Mercer Middle School before moving to Brambleton Middle School.

I live with my husband, two children who attend Loudoun County Public Schools, and my two adorable dogs. I am a trained Indian classical dancer and love dancing. I also enjoy spending time with my family and love to travel.

As we begin a brand new school year, I am thrilled to work with the Brambleton community and look forward to getting to know the students!
