Information directly from College Board: (LINK) Given the uncertainties of the 2020-21 school year, some students may feel unsure about taking AP Exams in May. So that students feel comfortable registering by the fall deadline, this year there will be no fees whatsoever if a student decides not to test or to cancel their exams. Every AP student should keep their options open by registering for the exam on time because there will still be a $40 fee for late orders.
The AP Program will support in-school testing in 2021 because administering exams in schools maximizes access and opportunity. If safety concerns still prohibit any students from testing at a school, we will provide a contingency testing option that contains full course content. College Board AP Central has worked over the past 6 months with improving their AP Central On-Line resource classroom called "My AP College Board" with enhanced content includingLCPS Specific Sign Up Information
On Thursday September 17, 2020 Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) opened the Payment Portal on the Broad Run High School Payment Portal. The below links contain important information on this year's payment directions and Broad Run highly encourages for students and parents to make payment before 5PM on Friday November 6, 2020.
"Students, parents, or guardians are responsible for the cost of the AP Exam. Each exam is $86, with the exception of AP Seminar and AP Research, which are $143. Broad Run's on-line payment portal will open on Thursday September 17th and close on Friday November 6th. Within the portal, students will need to select the name of the AP test(s) they wish to take. Please contact Mr. Kozikowski (LINK) to discuss the process for accepting cash or check payments."

Log into you AP Central Account:
1. Students will need to sign into AP Central (LINK)
2. If students do NOT have an account - they will follow the prompts to create an AP Central Account (LINK). Most students have existing accounds since they have already taken the PSAT 8/9 (Freshman Year) or PSAT/NMSQT (Sophmore or Junior Year). DO not create an account if one already exists - select "Forgot User Name or Password" to see if an account exists.

Notes:
- AP Seminar End-of-Course Exams are only available to students at schools participating in the AP Capstone Diploma program.
Occasionally, circumstances make it necessary for students to test late. To preserve the security of AP Exams, alternate forms are used for late testing. All students who participate in late testing at a given school must take these alternate exams on the scheduled late-testing dates at the scheduled times. See Late Testing for full details.
