Information directly from College Board: (LINK) Given the uncertainties of the 2020-21 school year, some students may feel unsure about taking AP Exams in May. So that students feel comfortable registering by the fall deadline, this year there will be no fees whatsoever if a student decides not to test or to cancel their exams. Every AP student should keep their options open by registering for the exam on time because there will still be a $40 fee for late orders.

The AP Program will support in-school testing in 2021 because administering exams in schools maximizes access and opportunity. If safety concerns still prohibit any students from testing at a school, we will provide a contingency testing option that contains full course content. College Board AP Central has worked over the past 6 months with improving their AP Central On-Line resource classroom called "My AP College Board" with enhanced content including

    Notes:

    • AP Seminar End-of-Course Exams are only available to students at schools participating in the AP Capstone Diploma program.

Occasionally, circumstances make it necessary for students to test late. To preserve the security of AP Exams, alternate forms are used for late testing. All students who participate in late testing at a given school must take these alternate exams on the scheduled late-testing dates at the scheduled times. See Late Testing for full details.
