Schiffler, Jonathan (Fine Arts)

 

 Mr. Schiffler is a graduate of James Madison University (Bachelor of Music) and Old Dominion University (Master of Music Education). While at Old Dominion University, he was the director of the basketball pep band and the graduate conductor of the Wind Ensemble. He has performed on tuba with the Virginia Wind Symphony, Symphonicity (Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra), the Catholic University Wind Ensemble, and the Fairfax Wind Symphony.

 

Mr. Schiffler is an active member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA), and the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA). He has attended and performed in both the VMEA Annual Conference and Midwest Band Clinic. Mr. Schiffler is married to Mrs. Schiffler. They reside in Aldie with their twin daughters Olivia and Summer, and the family dog Claire (a rescued American Staffordshire Terrier Mix).
