    Resource Teacher

It is important for children to blossom in a setting that encourages growth, happiness, a place to ask questions, and feel safe. My primary goal is to help bring out the best of every child that comes through my life professionally and personally.

    Educational Backgroud:

I earned a bachelor’s in Business but made the switch about 10 years, when I began an in-home day. I than moved into Bluemont Community Center as a preschool teacher and finding my way into LCPS, where I worked as a teacher assistance in the self-contained, Emotional Disorder class with 3rd – 5th grade and now I'm enjoying being a Resource Teacher for elementary. I have my Master’s in Special Education K -12!

    Fun Fact:

I love to spend time with family & friends, hiking, and laughing! I also enjoying disc golfing with my husband in our free time!

    Family:

I am a wife and mom to two beautiful girls! We also have a dog, named “Sully”, a cat named "Ellie," and a guinea pig, named “Oreo.”
