Beth Greening
Hello! My name is Mrs. Greening and I am super excited to be a part of the amazing Loudoun Valley family! This year I will be teaching Gourmet Foods and Intro to Culinary Arts.
I believe that life is a grand adventure with so many opportunities to enjoy. I was raised in Northern Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. I began my career as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Merck & Co., Inc. While at Merck, I represented products that treated many major disease states such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, osteoporosis, and asthma. During that time, I developed a passion for healthy living. For a season, I laid down my career to raise my family. Through my community volunteer efforts while raising my family, I became convinced that I wanted to embark on an encore career in education. I obtained my teaching license through the Career Switcher Program at Shenandoah University.
I have an awesome husband who loves all things boating and fishing. We call him Captain. My two amazing teenage daughters keep me smiling every day and serve as my in-house tech support team. Swimming is my hobby and favorite form of exercise. I also enjoy walking the beautiful trails in Loudoun County.
I can't wait to get to know each and every world changer in class this year! I am dedicated to encouraging every student to recognize the treasure within themselves. I believe that every person has a unique destiny and place in this world. I consider it an honor and privilege to partner with students and parents on the quest to make our world a better place one difference maker at a time.
