aI am so excited to share this group with Ms. Konopki and Mrs. Pollock. I have been able to get to know many of these students over the past few years and look forward to being a part of their daily 8th grade experience.

This year I will be serving students with last names M-Z and also supporting them through our special programs. I will be involved with teaching daily Advisory lessons, leading students and parents through the application and admission process for the Academies of Loudoun and Thomas Jefferson High School, facilitating our Sources of Strength programs, teaching our students about healthy relationships and transitioning them successfully to high school for next year.

I am a Loudoun County native and graduated from Broad Run High School. I completed my B.S.W. in Social Work with a minor in English from Ferrum College in Southwest Virginia and then went on to complete my Master of Arts Degree in Psychological Services with a concentration in School Counseling (K-12) from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I love spending time with my family, relaxing at the beach (especially the OBX), baking, decorating and watching my two boys in all of their many sporting events!

Middle school can be a fun time but it can also bring about incredible amounts of change. I am always here for you and your student to help support you both in any way I can. As I always tell them; there is a solution to every problem and we will find it.

Looking forward to a wonderful year!
