Sharon Saile is excited to be at Potomac Falls for her fourth year, where she will be teaching Environmental and Earth Science!
Before becoming a teacher, Sharon Saile had a career with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where she worked extensively on various air pollution issues including acid rain and climate change. Ms. Saile represented EPA at international meetings of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) during the negotiations that culminated in the Kyoto Protocol. After working on EPA’s voluntary programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, she went back to graduate school in the Career Switcher education program at George Mason University. She then taught Earth Science for 4 school years in Fairfax County before joining LCPS in 2017.
Sharon Saile has an MBA from Penn State University and a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, walking her dog in the woods, and playing bridge. Please contact me at email@example.com
