Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Megan Ginty and I am excited to start my first year teaching at Rosa Lee Carter. In May 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. I then went on to get my Master’s degree in Special Education at Marymount University and graduated this past May. I’m looking forward to applying everything I learned to meet the needs of all of my students!

As a teacher, my goal is to create a class environment that is comfortable and welcoming for all students. Also, I strive to create engaging lessons that allow students to have fun while learning.

I grew up in South Riding, VA and went to Loudoun County Public Schools in elementary, middle, and high school. I’m very excited to be a teacher in this awesome county! When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my two dogs Holly and Mona. Fun fact: I have a twin sister who is also a teacher in Loudoun! I also love to watch and support the Washington Capitals. Go Caps!

I am looking forward to an exciting year in 2nd grade! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
