Mrs. Lori Conti
Hello! My name is Lori Conti and I am very happy to be the school librarian at Rosa Lee Carter. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!) and a Master of Education in School Librarianship from Longwood University. I taught 1st and 3rd grade for 12 years before taking time off to raise my children. After moving to Loudoun, I taught 3rd grade at Legacy Elementary. This will be my 3rd year as Librarian at RLC.
A life-long love of reading books and teaching elementary students drives my passion to foster literacy development in the school library. Our library is here to meet the needs of all in our learning community. I look forward to helping our students and staff find the print and digital resources they need for research, instruction, and recreational reading.
When I'm not in the library, I love to spend time with my husband, family, and friends. My son is attending graduate school at George Mason University and my daughter is a James Madison Duke! My favorite things to do are read and go to the beach. Reading a great book by the ocean is the perfect combination for me!
I look forward to working with all the readers and learners in the Rosa Lee Carter community!
