Michelle Kelch is very excited to join Catoctin's special education staff this year! Mrs. Kelch studied special education at Longwood University. She completed their five year program and graduated with her undergraduate degree in 2003 and masters degree in 2004. Over the past sixteen years Mrs. Kelch has taught public school special education in Alexandria City and Fairfax County, private preschool, and provided private tutoring to students.
Mrs. Kelch lives in Leesburg with her husband and two children. Matthew is a third grader at Catoctin this year. Ella is beginning her last year of preschool and will join her brother and mom next year. When Mrs. Kelch is not teaching you may find her out walking, riding bikes, or running around Leesburg with her family! She enjoys time with her kids at Greenway Park, watching her son play soccer and swim, as well as eating out in downtown Leesburg!
Mrs. Kelch is a passionate and reflective teacher who believes that positive relationships are the foundation of education. She is so grateful to be a teacher and parent in the Catoctin community! Please feel free to contact Mrs. Kelch at Michelle.Kelch@lcps.org with any questions or concerns.
