Mrs. Alexis Hedlund

Mrs. Hedlund is excited to be returning to Potowmack for her fourth year!

A little about Mrs. Hedlund...

She graduated from George Mason University with a BM in Music Education. While in school, she was an active member of the American Choral Directors Association and participated in various choral ensembles as a section leader and assistant conductor. Her newest venture is serving as Alto Section Leader for the Voce Chamber Singers.

Mrs. Hedlund grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia and moved to Fairfax to attend George Mason University and has decided to stay to pursue teaching in this area. She lives with her husband, Ross, and cat, Patty, in Herndon! In her spare time, she loves to line dance, read, crochet, and spend warm days outside (or at the beach if she is visiting her family in Chesapeake!).
