Ms. Savannah Boeing
Mrs. Boeing is so excited to be working at River Bend as the 6th Grade Counselor this year. Mrs. Boeing has two Bachelors of Science degrees in Hospitality and in Finance from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling from George Mason University. In her free time, she loves exploring all the good food Loudoun County has to offer, play with her dog, Poppy, as well as crocheting and loving all things Disney (she used to work at Disney World in college!).
As a school counselor, Mrs. Boeing will support students’ academic, social/emotional, and career development through classroom counseling lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling. She is here to help students develop skills and strategies to be successful in school, at home, and in their community. Mrs. Boeing believes in helping students become competent in responsible decision making, relationship skills, self-management, self-awareness, and social awareness. Additionally, she will also facilitate parent/teacher conferences when needed.
