Students will continue to have access to all of the resources through LCPSGO from any device with internet access over the summer.  Access to textbook resources will be uninterrupted. However, access to some specific personalized learning applications linked to our student information system may be suspended in August in order to begin uploading students into their new classes for the 2022-2023 school year.

    • Math - Use of Dreambox is highly encouraged over the summer for K-5 as it is a great, adaptive tool for independent student number sense development. Current rosters will be available until at least July 31. If your teacher set up a Prodigy account, students can still use their unique login to practice over the summer. Reach out to your child's teacher about that.
    • Reading - Reading A-Z (and EPIC, if accounts were set up by their teacher this year) will give students access to thousands of books to keep their reading skills sharp.
    • Interdisciplinary- Discovery Education, BrainPOP, and Library Resources are engaging tools to supplement all subject areas, watch videos, and learn more about any areas of interest.
    • All the Google Apps for Education can be used for students to create, write, and capture their ideas over the summer.

I also strongly encourage you to check out the instructional resources available on our Distance Learning Family Resources website.

Thank you so much for supporting educational technology use at home, and have a wonderful summer!
