I am the School Social Worker and I am beginning my 27^th school year with Loudoun County Public Schools.  I hold a Master’s in Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  My experience with LCPS includes working as a Substance Abuse Specialist and Special Education Counselor prior to working under the title of School Social Worker.  Prior to my career at LCPS, I worked in acute psychiatric and residential settings.

I have been at Woodgrove since the school’s opening and have been full-time at the school since the 2017-2018 school year. I am part of the Unified Mental Health Team at Woodgrove and provide mental health support to students with the school counseling department.  Additionally, I am the PBIS External Coach, a co-advisor of the Minority Student Union Club at Woodgrove, provide support to the PEER class, and am an Adult Leader for the Advisory, FACEtime, Student Leader program.
