Head Varsity Coach:Varsity Assistant:TBDCoach Mizerak grew up in Sterling and moved to Purcellville when she was 12 years old. As a sophomore she started on Valley's varsity team and ran track all 4 years of her college career. She won the State Championship in the 4x400 her junior year. A couple of months after reaching her career high, she tore her ACL. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to play basketball as a senior, but went on to play for Bridgewater College. As a sophomore her team won the ODAC championship. She also did track all 4 years at Bridgewater, where she holds many records.Coach Mizerak is entering her second year of teaching at Harmony Middle School and coaching both basketball and track at Valley. She is excited about continuing to develop student athletes and guiding them both on and off the field.Coach Mizerak lives in Purcellville with her dad John, sister Jamie, her cat, Buddy and her dog Oakley.J.V. Head Coach:Hal BroadhurstAffectionately known to all as Coach "B" , Coach Broadhurst has been a valuable member of the Loudoun Valley community. He has coached girls basketball at many ages and stages in Western Loudoun for 16 years. Entering his 5th year as part of the Lady Viking staff and first as JV coach, he is looking forward to being back home in the Dulles District and all of the local rivalries that come with it. Coach B also coaches softball at Valley and also coached freshmen football for 5 years as well. His philosophy is simple: work hard, play hard, have fun!!! Overall, this will be his 46th season of coaching athletes and he wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Coach B is very excited to continue being a part of this program and look forward to a successful season.Go Vikes!!!JV Assistant Coach:Hillary DeBaiseCoach DeBaise was raised in Western Loudoun and is a product of Loudoun Valley High School. She played basketball during her years prior to high school. She became manager of the girls basketball team at LVHS after an injury prevented her from continuing to play. During high school she also assisted with a basketball team coached by her dad, Coach "B". She constantly attends numerous LVHS sporting events supporting her alma mater. Coach DeBaise is overly excited and enthusiastic about coaching the girls basketball team. She looks forward to helping girls develop a true love of the game of basketball!Coach DeBaise works for LCPS at the Administration and has been working for LCPS for 11 years. She lives in Hamilton with her husband, Michael and seven year old daughter, Brynn. She hopes that one day her daughter will have the pleasure of being a graduate of Loudoun Valley. GO VIKINGS!!!
