Mrs. Parker

Hello Eagles!   I am very excited to be teaching First Graders  again this year!  It's great to see so many familiar faces and meet even more of our wonderful Emerick parents.  Emerick has been like a family to me since 2007, when I began teaching Kindergarteners. I have now been part of the First Grade Team for 10 years. The impact of early childhood learning is a responsibility I do not take lightly, yet it fills me with joy to work with the littlest of students.  I enjoyed teaching 1st graders at Sterling Elementary for three years prior to coming to Purcellville.  Before that, I graduated from Radford University and went to William and Mary to earn a Masters' Degree in Reading Language and Literacy.  I am looking forward to another terrific year at Emerick.  It will be so exciting to see the "Great Things Growing" in Mrs. Parker's 1st grade class.
