    Ms. Muccio

Hello Sterling.... So happy to be at the home of the Jaguars!

    A little about me:

I graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Education PreK-8 and George Mason University with an MA in Special Education K-12. I began my teaching career in Virginia Beach in 1985 where I taught second and third grades. After moving to Loudoun County, I taught fifth grade and special education in both fourth and fifth grades for 10 years at Hillside Elementary. I then spent three years at Legacy Elementary serving as the 4th grade Resource teacher, and am excited to be a part of the  Sterling Elementary family. I remain passionate and committed to working to find ways to teach and support students through classes, research, and training, and most importantly through collaboration with families (who know them best). It is my joy to watch children grow in confidence and abilities when a recipe of challenge, patience (!), consistency, and caring is put in place.
